May 4-6, 2012 - Boise, Id - NAPA AutoParts Ignitor Opener
Pilot: Jim Obalek.
Jim Obalek's maden outing piloting a AA/FC was a success. Jim Qualified in the #3 spot and and gets his first round win over Ryan Davenport driving Bucky Austin's Northwest Hitter. Jim put up a good fight but was defeated by Jason Rupert's stellar 5.76. Jim set low E.T. in round one with a 5.86 @ 273 MPH.

May 26-27, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV - Rockabilly Rod Reunion
Pilot: Jim Obalek
Twenty two funny cars showed up for an eight car field; Jim Obalek qualified in the top half of the field with a 5.90. Round one of eliminations Jim faced off against Bob Godfrey; Jim started to pull away, but the motor let go due to a mechanical failure. Jim's 6.00 could not hold off Godfrey to advance to round two.

July 6-8, 2012 - Edmonton, Alberta - Rocky Mountain Nationals
Jim Obalek drives his way to his first number one qualifing position. Jim's quickest pass was .100 seconds quicker then the rest of the field. Jim also made it to his first career funny car final.

July 21-22, 2012 - Mission, Canada - Canadain National Open
For the Second weekend in a row, Jim Obalek is low qualifier and runs quickest E.T. of the event. With a great performance in qualifing, unfortunately was eliminated early in Eliminations.

July 27, 2012 - Seattle, Wa - Goodguys
Jim Obalek runs a winning 5.84 in a Friday Night match race against Kris Krabel.


July 28-29, 2012 - Woodburn, Or - Night Of Fire
Saturday night match racing against Gary Eickman, both great races with side by side 5 second runs.


August 10-12, 2012 - Boise, Id - Nightfire Nationals
Jim Obalek qualifies 5th with a 6.06. Jim then made it to the semi finals, where he was defeated by John Hale.


August 17-18, 2012 - Spokane, Wa - Night of Fire
after a shakey 6.00 qualifying run to get Jim Obalek in the 6th position, the Twig Zeigler car makes it to the Semi Finals where the eventual event winner Kris Krabel put Jim on the trailer.


2011 Racing Results

April 28-30,2011 - Boise, ID - 2011 NAPA AutoParts Ignitor Opener
Pilot: Twig Zeigler
After dodging snow on Friday, Twig qualified 5th with a 6.02, Won round one over Dennis La Chartie with a 5.89. Twig was defeated in the semi finals by Jason Rupert Congratulations to Twig Zeigler on a new career low E.T. with a 5.89 @244 MPH

May 28,29,2011 - Las Vegas, NV. - Rockabilly Rod Reunion
Pilot: Darin Bay
Made one qualifying pass before race was postponed due to high winds. Due to scheduling conflicts, the team was not able to compete in eliminations on Monday.

July 22,23, 2011 - Mission Raceway Park - Canada National Open
Pilot: Darin Bay
Qualified number two with a 5.78, made it to the final round by defeating Mike Grekul piloting the Pluger and Gyger car, and Todd Lesenko in the Jolly Roger car. Final round was won by Tim Boychuk, a very close drag race, Boychuk's 5.81 to Darin's 5.87.

July 29,30, 2011 - Woodburn, Or - Night of Fire
Pilot: Darin Bay
Made three exhibition passes, two on Saturday, and one on Sunday. The quickest pass of the weekend was a 5.82. All passes were dedicated for testing purposes for upcoming events.

August 11-14, 2011 - Boise, ID - Nightfire Nationals
Pilot: Darin Bay
Darin drove to a 6.20 for the first round of qualifying. The team made the decision to sit out the second qualifying session, and had a mechanical issue on the staring line of the third session and was unable to make a pass. Darin was qualified #15 againt Jason Rupert in round one of eliminations. Darin got the win light with a 6.14. Due to the motor expiring at the end of the first round, the Twig Zeigler Nitro Funny Car was unable to make the call for the second round of eliminations against John Hale.

August 20, 21, 2011 - Spokane, Wa - NAPA Night of Fire

Pilot: Twig Zeigler
Friday night Darin Bay was involved in a testing accident while making the maiden voyage of his new jet dragster, and was unable to drive the AA/FC for the event. Twig jumped in the seat and qualified number 2 with a 5.86. Unfortunately Twig suffered severe tire shake during first round of eliminations and could not hold on for the win light. Twig Zeigler made one more run in between rounds of elimination as a match race against Troy Sitko. Twig ran a career best pass, and set low E.T. and top MPH for the event running a 5.84 @ 238.

August 11-15, 2010 - Boise, ID - Nightfire Nationals
Pilot: Darin Bay
Qualified 8th, with a 6.08. Lost in round one to Dennis La Charite. Darin ran a 5.96 to La Charite's 5.91. First side-by-side 5 second run at Firebird Raceway in Boise.

September 11,12, 2010 - Woodburn, OR - Fall Classic
Pilot: Darin Bay
Ran three exhibition passes; 5.825, 5.782, 5.780 (Track Record)
