Welcome to the official website of Twig Zeigler's Nitro Funny car. The car is owned by Ted Wiens, and Twig Zeigler; drivin by Twig Zeigler and Jim Obalek. The car is operated out of Ferndale, Washington. Twig is in his 42nd year of nitro racing and running better than ever. The modern car is based off of Twig's Ford poppy red Pizza Haven car that ran fron 1973-1975. Currently the best ET for the car is 5.78.

After a great 2012 racing season, Jim Obalek and Twig Zeigler decided to part ways. There will be a new driver announced shortly. Looking forward to the 2013 racing season. Happy Holidays from Twig Zeigler Racing.

Number one qualifier for the second weekend in a row. After an impressive qualifing session at Mission Raceway, Jim Obalek goes out early in eliminations.

Jim Obalek is top qualifier by one tenth of a second; at the largest drag race in Canada, the Edmonton Nitro Jam. Jim drives his way to a runner up finish loosing to Tim Boychuck in the final. >br />

Jim Obalek makes it to the Semi Finals at the Napa Ignitor in his first outing piloting a Nitro Funny Car.

Jim qualifies #3 with a 6.01; lost in the semi final to Jason Rupert. Quickest run of the weekend was a 5.86.

Twig Zeigler sets top speed, low E.T. and a new personal carrear best time with a 5.84 at Spokane County Raceway. Darin Bay was scheduled to drive this weekend, but was unable to after a testing accident Friday night when Bay was making the maiden voyage of Bay's new Devastator Jet dragster. Darin Bay was released from the hospital on Saturday and is eager to drive again.
